Anna’s work explores the struggle of language to approach those things most difficult to put into words. Their themes include motherhood, failure, our ghosts and the shakiness of boundaries (temporal, physical and otherwise).

Anna lectures in creative writing and literature, and runs regular writing workshops and mentoring.

They are currently co-guest-editor of Studies in the Maternal Journal. Anna also co-founded the Visceral Bodies research group.
